A website address, also known as a URL, names the location of a website, file or document available on the World Wide Web - and every URL contains a domain name.
AGENT STUDIO SUB-DOMAIN
Every website built on the Agent Studio platform is automatically assigned a default Sub-domain which is created using two pieces of information: your Agent Studio Website Name and the Agent Studio Domain Name.
For example, if you register your Agent Studio Website Name as ABC TRAVEL COMPANY, our system will automatically pair it with the Agent Studio Domain Name to generate the following Sub-domain (website address/URL):
This Sub-domain can be entered into the website address bar of any web browser in order to access your Agent Studio website (see below).
IMPORTANT: Agent Studio Sub-domains should never begin with "WWW." Pairing your Agent Studio Sub-domain with "WWW." will result in an error.
INDEPENDENT PRIMARY DOMAIN
A primary domain is used to create a more direct website address for your business. Although Agent Studio does not offer a domain hosting service, you can purchase a primary domain name from independent domain registrars such as GoDaddy.
For example, if your company name is ABC TRAVEL COMPANY, you may wish to purchase the following primary domain name from a domain registrar:
Once you have obtained a primary domain name for your business, you can connect it to your Agent Studio website.
When this process is completed correctly, the primary domain can be entered into the website address bar of any web browser in order to access your Agent Studio website.
GOOD TO KNOW: Using a primary domain will never impact the functionality of your Agent Studio Sub-domain. This means that if your primary domain name expires or if the settings of your primary domain account change, you will always retain access to your Agent Studio website by simply entering the Sub-domain into the website address bar of any browser.
